Serving Greater Indianapolis, Greenwood, Carmel, Fishers
Here are some of the basic things you'll bring to the table:
You see yourself as a highly motivated, positive and decidedly detailed person that can handle the responsibilities that go along with providing skillful and thorough support to the Sales Team and others on the NAC Team. The challenge of prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities just seems like home to you. Being a team player is a given in your mind. You’re someone for whom no task is too small or too large. If it contributes to the company’s success, you’re on board. You're so committed to results, people notice.
You are calm in a crisis. Gracious when tension mounts. And you can just shrug it off when a client or co-worker gets a bit agitated or even loses their temper. Others say you’re really good with people.
Maybe you have a Bachelor's Degree... or maybe you don't. We are selecting a person based on what they can bring into our company, and we're less concerned about where they learned it. The important thing is that you have the experience to illustrate a verifiable and proven track record. Of course, there's no doubt that strong verbal and written communication skills will be one of your strong suits.
You have an insatiable desire to improve. You enjoy learning and growing. Digging into new software programs and business systems is something you take in stride. It's also pretty important that you learn to understand some of the technicalities of what we do that makes our clients smile. In fact, your learning will never stop here at North American Contractors. That's just what a driven, client-focused person does!
You'll command respect throughout the organization, because you'll earn it. Going the extra mile is something you expect from yourself. You’re just so reliable, everyone knows you are trustworthy, especially when comes to mission-critical or delicate matters.
More specifically you will be doing this really important stuff:
When it comes to the Sales Team, you're the one that looks for ways to tactfully pry stuff loose and keep things moving efficiently. When it comes to the Sales Manager, you’re the one that keeps him focused on his Key Result Areas. You clear the path enabling him to do what only he should be doing. Besides, you know you can probably do it better than he can anyway. Trying to make him look good isn’t easy, but you’ve got this.
You maintain a follow-up system for project deadlines for the Sales Manager, the Sales reps and yourself. You keep stuff moving and don't let anything fall through the cracks. You're the kind of person that will work every day until the job is done and are willing to work evenings and weekends when it is absolutely necessary. This is extremely rare but should it happen, you just roll up your sleeves. Your family is important to us too.
Frequently, you'll be the first contact with incoming calls and visitors. You’ll be the liaison between our company and its current and potential clients. In the beginning, you’ll be trained to engage our clients by following communication guides designed to help you identify clients’ needs, clarify information, and help build lasting relationships.
As you entrench yourself into the role, will begin to accept ownership for effectively managing the appointment schedules for the Sales Team, handling quite a few inbound and outbound calls along with internet leads. Eventually you’ll seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise and convert lost sales into new opportunities.
Our entire focus is to provide a remarkable Client Experience and will be at the core of your every decision and behavior.
For the most part, you are the administrative hub for the entire organization. Everyone counts on you to maintain the accurate flow of information in one way or another. You'll touch every client file and the support you provide to the sales teams is "mission critical." That means that you'll be the go-to person when it comes to core administrative activities.
