Challenge
We received a call from a homeowner in Greenfield, IN that reported a leak dripping from their ceiling. Inspector Michael Griffith went over every inch of their roof to locate the source of the leak. The roof was in in great condition and appeared to be newer, which makes it unusual to experience leaks. Upon further evaluation he checked out the area of the pipe jack. It revealed there were in fact loose shingles, exposed nails and nail pops causing the interior leak.
Solution
Our roofing crew went out to the property to remove the shingles around the pipe jack, installed new boot and sealed it. We installed new shingles and sealed the nailed to remediate the leak.
